My Role
At Neurons, I did a complete rebranding, focusing on making it more creative and appealing for marketers and designers, shifting away from being just an applied neuroscience research company. I continuously develop new concepts for the website, live and online events, and also create the social media strategy and design. As a brand designer, I make sure our brand is consistent across all departments
Logo Creation &
Rebranding process
I led the rebranding initiative together with the Design Manager, working closely with the COO and CEO. We explored over 100 logo concepts and sketches throughout the process. The main challenge was aligning stakeholders on the need to shift from a traditional neuroscience consulting look to a younger, more modern SaaS brand. It was a valuable learning journey, and the rebrand contributed to the company’s successful €6M seed investment round.
Creative Direction on commercial videos
I led the creative direction of Neurons’ commercial brand videos in collaboration with a video content creator. I created moodboards to define the visual style, vibe, and overall direction. I also manually designed all assets and handed them over for post-production and animation.
Website Design &
Interactive elements
I continuously update and improve our website to reflect every new product release. The main challenge is keeping users engaged as they scroll, while always making the design feel fresh and visually appealing.
In this recording, I created the visual assets in Figma and After Effects, then exported individual elements as Lottie files and made them interactive on click in collaboration with our developer using Webflow.
Paid Social Media Ads
At Neurons, I work closely with our Marketing Specialist to develop creative campaigns that attract new leads. My main focus is designing visually simple yet engaging ads that make our complex product easy to understand instantly.
Use of AI
I absolutely love using generative AI in my creative process. It’s a powerful tool that helps me bring ideas to life and build distinct brand identities. At Neurons, I use it regularly to create diverse, brand-specific visuals that show how our product works across different industries. It allows me to move quickly from concept to execution, especially for art direction while still keeping full creative control, since I always refine and edit everything manually.
